Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eien to Jidou Shuki Ningyou tells the story of Isabella, a girl from the prestigious York family, who enrolls in an all-girls academy to be groomed as a proper lady worthy of high society. Feeling trapped and disillusioned within the confines of the esteemed school, she sees it more as a prison than a place of learning. Struggling with her studies, Isabellas family hires Violet Evergarden to privately tutor her under the guise of a maid.
